A 3-ton unit came in at a 10° split and left at 25°

Conroe HVAC and plumbing, measured before anything is replaced.

Our technicians write down the split, the amp draw and the static pressure, then quote you. Licensed for heating, cooling and plumbing, open 7 days from 7:30am to 8pm.

Read at the condenser

Five places a technician looks before quoting you a part.

Most of the calls we answer in July started as something visible in April. These are the spots on an outdoor unit where the reading gets taken and written down.

Three visits, told by the customers who booked them. Before and after, in the figures our technicians actually recorded. Scroll sideways for the full log.

Barely cooling. A blown 5-amp fuse replaced, a leak test with no leak found, then only the refrigerant it actually needed. The 5-ton condenser on the same house was cleaned inside and out.

Before you book

Questions Conroe homeowners ask us most.

Twice a year. Inspect and service the system at least once before cooling season and once before heating season, which is what our maintenance agreement schedules for you. Most of the failures we get called out for in July started as something small and visible in April.

It is the difference between the air going into your return and the air coming out of your supply vent. A healthy split usually sits somewhere in the mid teens to low twenties. A low split means the system is running but not actually moving heat, and it points at airflow or refrigerant charge. We measure it because the number tells you what is wrong, and a guess does not.

No. Estimates on replacement systems are free and carry no obligation. We also offer a same-day second opinion on install quotes, subject to scheduling and location, so you can put a quote you already have side by side with ours before you commit.

Bigger is not better. An oversized system short-cycles, never runs long enough to pull humidity out of the air, and wears itself out early. Sizing comes from your home's actual heating and cooling load, its layout and its ductwork, which is why we look at the house rather than quoting off the square footage over the phone.

Odors usually come from what is living in the system rather than the system itself. Mold, dust mites, animal dander and bacteria all sit in ductwork and on coils, and poor ventilation concentrates them. Air fresheners mask it. Cleaning the source, improving filtration, or adding germicidal UV addresses it. We test rather than assume.

Yes. We hold Texas HVAC contractor licence TACLA 20944C and master plumber licence MPL45324, so a system changeout that also needs a water heater does not turn into two contractors and two schedules.
